Excuse me, I’m in New York!

OOOPS!!

It’s been a while .. well more than a year since I didn’t blog! Things have been complicated then, had to move back in France because I had no more Visa but hey! Guess Where I am now : In New York!! Enjoying (hot) summer and more : Interning at David Stark Design.

Last year I was telling you about my passion for his work and how I wanted to join this team! Well : done! At least for a few months! So happy :)))) 

I’ll keep you updated about how things are going there and most of all about NYC life! Amazing so Far!

Chic! Un rose girlie girly à souhait! Honeysuckle est la couleur Pantone de l’année!

J’adore le rose, bien que je n’en porte pas au quotidien (dans mon milieu de travail c’est un peu difficile d’arriver avec ma mini robe rose) mais j’ai même peint l’an passé un de mes murs de chambre en rose, c’est magique!

Ça m’étonnerait par contre que ce la devienne la couleur prédominante de mon mariage! Non, non on se calme! Je ne vais pas me marier, il me faudrait déjà trouver LE Prince Charmant!

Mais j’en profite quand même pour vous faire un aperçu des tendances rose/honeysuckle, on en deviendrait gaga!

Yeeesss! A girly pink, just what we needed! Honeysuckle is the color Pantone of the year!

I like pink, although I do not wear it to the everyday life (in my working environment it is a little bit difficult to arrive with my mini pink dress) but I even painted last year one wall of my room in pink, it is magic!

I don’t think that it will become the dominant color of my wedding! No, noooo, calm down! I am not going to get married, i need to find THE Charming Prince first!

But still, I take advantage of it to make you a pink / honeysuckle outline of the trends, how not being gaga about it?!?

de l’art à la table

Sur mon twitter (@mosurroundings), je vous ai parlé de ma rencontre avec le traiteur de de l’art à la table qui va offrir ses services à Montréal dans les prochaines semaines.

Voici le logo que j’ai réalisé pour lui dernièrement dans un esprit sobre chic moderne et traditionnel en même temps. J’ai aussi pu m’amuser à lui créer une typographie adaptée à ce qu’il souhaitait.

Pas la peine de le rechercher sur le web pour le moment, on est en au tout début de la création de son matériel, mais je vous tiendrais rapidement informé car de l’art à la table, croyez-moi, ça va faire vibrer vos papilles plutôt deux fois qu’une! Miam!

On my Twitter ( @mosurroundings ), I wrote about my meeting with the caterer of de l’art a la table who is going to offer his services in Montreal in the next weeks.

Here is the logo which I created recently in a modern and traditional chic sober spirit. I also enjoy creating a unique typography adapted to what he wished.

No need to look for him on Web for the moment, we are at the beginning of creating all his material, but I would quickly keep you updated because de l’art a la table, believe in me, that is going to make your papillae vibrate rather twice than one (does this idiom even works in english lol)! Yummy!

où tout à commencé :)

Where everything began :)

Je ne me souviens plus par quel site, clique clique et reclique j’ai eu le bonheur d’atterrir sur le site de David Stark… tout ce que je sais c’est qu’à l’instant même, je suis tombée amoureuse de ses créations. Tout y est absolument parfait, grandiose, magique, unique! Il crée des univers inoubliables où tout à sa place.

C’est lui qui m’a donné envie il y a environ un an de me lancer dans le design d’événement car c’est pour moi la création absolu de réussir à réunir dans un même univers différentes disciplines : le design print, la bouffe, les sculptures, l’art de la table, l’art floral (en passant ma mère est fleuriste et elle me doit plusieurs leçon de créations florales chic chic chic)  … 

Depuis je suis via son blog mais surtout grâce à de nombreux autres blogs, que je listerais d’ici peu dans la sections links, tout ses moindres gestes. C’est mon Dieu absolu.

I do not remember any more by which website, clicks clicks and reclicks I had the happiness to land on David Stark’s website. All that I know it’s that at this instant I fell in love with his creations. Everything is absolutely perfect, grand, magic, unique! He creates unforgettable universes where everything deserve being there.

It is him who tempted me about one year ago to put my two feet in the event design field. It is for me the creation absolute to manage to put in the same universe various disciplines: the design print, the food, the sculptures, the art of table, the flower arranging (by the way my mother is a florist and she owes me some lesson of floral creations, can’t wait) …

Since then I am following all his moves on his blog but especially thanks to other numerous blogs, that I would soon list in links sections. He is my absolute God.
